Three shows will compete in the Outstanding Broadway Production at the GLAAD Media Awards this year. The selected nominees are Chicken & Biscuits, Company, and Thoughts of a Colored Man.
Also nominated this year for Outstanding Motion Picture (Wide Release) are the stage-to-screen adaptations of tick, tick... BOOM! and West Side Story. Several projects with theatre favorites in the cast also earned nods, including Dickinson, The Other Two, Pose, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Dopesick, Halston, and Single All the Way.
The View also received a nomination for Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode for “Mj Rodriguez on Historic Emmy Nomination and Hopes for Trans Community's Future.” The Pose star became the first performer who openly identifies as trans to be nominated in a Leading category last year.
The winners will be announced at one of two ceremonies, held in Los Angeles (April 2) and in New York (May 6). For a full list of nominees, click here.
