Performances are now underway for the London premiere of Amy Herzog’s Belleville, set to open December 14 at The Donmar Warehouse. Happy Valley’s James Norton and Imogen Poots, fresh off her run in the acclaimed West End revival of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? opposite Imelda Staunton, co-star as a young American couple whose idyllic Parisian life is shattered over the course of a tension-filled afternoon.

Michael Longhurst (Constellations, Amadeus) directs a cast completed by Faith Alabi (The Rolling Stone) and Malachi Kirby (Rough Cuts).

Take a First Look at Amy Herzog’s Belleville at the Donmar Warehouse

Herzog garnered critical acclaim for her 2011 drama 4000 Miles, which played an extended run Off-Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater. Her plays also include After the Revolution, The Great God Pan, and Mary Jane, which recently concluded an extended, acclaimed run at New York Theatre Workshop.
