RiseNY, in a partnership with Playbill, will present a free Pride celebration, Rise Up. Live Proud., June 26 to benefit Heritage of Pride.

The noon event—uniting Broadway stars, LGBTQIA+ artists, and allies for an uplifting celebration of music, pride, and community—will be staged live from the Torch Balcony at RiseNY, overlooking West 45th Street in Times Square.

Performers are scheduled to include Anthony Rapp (Rent), Mario Cantone (And Just Like That…), Sandra Valls (Real Women Have Curves: The Musical), Jackie Cox (RuPaul's Drag Race), and Wicked cast members, with additional talent to be announced. Activist, entertainer, and NYC Pride Grand Marshall Marti Gould Cummings will host.

The performance, including songs from each artist, will also be shared across Playbill.com and RiseNY’s digital platforms, including social media and news.

“NYC Pride is grateful to have partners like RiseNY and Playbill uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices in such an iconic New York City setting,” said Matthew Şenız-Cheng, associate director of Corporate Partnerships of NYC Pride, in a statement. “This celebration reminds us of the power of joy, community, and visibility during Pride Month and beyond.”

The free event, open to locals, tourists, and theatre fans alike, will also include an online raffle held in conjunction with the concert, offering the chance to win exclusive Broadway merchandise, show tickets, and one-of-a-kind theatrical experiences, including two Grandstand tickets to NYC Pride, two tickets to see Wicked on Broadway, a virtual date with Emmy-nominated actress and comedian Nicole Byer, a $50 Planet Hollywood Gift Card, a Serendipity3 Gift Basket, a Playbill swag bag, and two VIP tickets to RiseNY.
