Half Hour, a new play from actor Blake DeLong (Death of a Salesman), is getting an invite-only presentation in NYC May 22 at Theatre 511. Jon Hudson Odom is directing.

The work takes place in a men's dressing room at an Off-Broadway revival of Shakespeare's Hamlet, exploring how families are created and dissolved. The cast of the reading will feature Christopher Abbott (Danny and the Deep Blue Sea), Austin Pendleton (The Minutes), Michael Rishawn (Table 17), Teagle F. Bougere (The Crucible), Quincy Dunn-Baker (The Righteous Gemstones), Marsha Stephanie Blake (An Octoroon), Amy Hargreaves (Homeland), Fred Lehne (Elsbeth), and Christine Spang (Succession).

Along with acting credits on Broadway in Death of a Salesman and Off-Broadway in Richard Nelson's IllyriaOthello (directed by Sam Gold), The Bachelors, and Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812, DeLong is currently producing a film recounting the true events surrounding a 1999 community college production of Tony Kushner's Angels in America in rural Texas. His other plays include The Hottest Blood, produced Off-Broadway in 2015 with DeLong starring opposite David Rysdahl.

Ashley Melone and Nick Mills are producing in association with Vineyard Arts Project.
