News Broadway Stars Will Perform Before the Pope's Mass at Madison Square Garden "A Journey in Faith," a show of prayer and devotional music will be presented as part of Pope Pope Francis' Mass at Madison Square Garden Sept. 25, according to the New York Times.

The pass will begin at 6:30 PM, but the performances, featuring award-winning actors and musicians, will begin at 3 PM. Attendants are encouraged to arrive by 2 PM.

The lineup includes Tony nominee Harry Connick, Jr. (The Pajama Game, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever), Gloria Estefan, Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson ("Dreamgirls," The Color Purple, Tony winner Kelli O'Hara (The King and I, The Bridges of Madison County), Tony nominee and Emmy winner Martin Sheen (The Crucible, "The West Wing,") James (D Train) Williams and Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess, Sondheim on Sondheim).

The event will also feature The Broadway Inspirational Voices and the St. Charles Borromeo Choir. The performance will include the recitation of the rosary and the sacrament of reconciliation.

Tickets to the Mass have been distributed through parishes in New York City and elsewhere in New York State.
