Crystal Lucas-Perry celebrated her birthday backstage at Ain't No Mo' in style! The star, whose birthday is December 15, was surprised by her company members with a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake ahead of their Thursday evening performance.

Celebrate Crystal Lucas-Perry's Birthday Backstage at Ain't No Mo' on Broadway

Lucas-Perry has had a remarkable 2022, making her Broadway debut as John Adams in the revival of 1776 before reprising her Lortel Award winning performance in Ain't No Mo' for the Broadway transfer. In Ain't No Mo', Lucas-Perry portrays half a dozen different characters, ranging from an elderly church organist to a reality television star.

Lucas-Perry, who is known for her love of Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes, had several photos of herself as a child on hand, showcasing her lifelong love for that brand. Lucas-Perry also took to instagram to share one of her favorite throwbacks.

Ain’t No Mo’ is a play that posits, in series of comedy sketches: “What happens if the American government offered African Americans a one-way ticket back to Africa?”

Stevie Walker-Webb directs the production which stars playwright Jordan E. Cooper, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Fedna Jacquet, Marchánt Davis, Ebony Marshall-Oliver, Shannon Matesky, Nik Alexander, Jasminn Johnson, Michael Rishawn, Kedren Spencer, Brennie Tellu, and Emma Van Lare.

The creative team features lighting designer Adam Honoré, scenic designer Scott Pask, costume designer Emilio Sosa, co-sound designers Jonathan Deans and Taylor Williams, and wig designer Mia M. Neal.
