Off-Broadway News Gabe Mollica's Solo Extends Off-Broadway

Described as a "show about friendship," the production previously played Edinburgh Fringe.

Gabe Mollica's Solo: A Show About Friendship, has extended through November 19 Off-Broadway at Soho Playhouse.

Originally slated to end November 12, the limited run marks Mollica's Off-Broadway debut. All shows begin at 9 PM.

"I turned 30, and it occurred to me that I don't have any friends," declares Mollica at the top of the show, after which he attempts to explain why, walking audiences through the "30-year-old bros" in his life, teenage relationships, his first go at stand-up, and more. The work previously played Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Winnipeg Fringe Festival, along with performances in Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Albany, and Dublin.

Each show includes a special guest performer; announced performers for future performances include composer Joe Iconis November 9, comedian Ariel Elias November 10, comedian Josh Gondelman November 11, and comedian Sam Morrison November 12.

Solo is produced by Caitlin Cook and Mahmood Alladadweh, with Ophira Eisenberg serving as creative consultant and Greg Walloch as story producer.
