Directed by Matthew Gardiner, the cast features Alex Brightman, Natascia Diaz, Jessica Hershberg and Joshua Morgan.

The new musical has a book and score by Nick Blaemire. It is described thus: "It is the hottest summer in human history and, in a few short months, all water on earth will evaporate. In response, twenty-something Charlie has taken to her couch with only her beloved possessions: peanut butter, Wolf Blitzer and Herschel, the fish. Her mother, roommate and sometimes-boyfriend all attempt to persuade her to leave her apartment and enjoy life. However, as Charlie’s memories take over, more complicated reasons for her self-inflicted hibernation emerge as she confronts her deferred dreams and considers the possibility of life and love just outside her door."

Soon marks Blaemire’s second collaboration with Signature Theatre, which produced the world premiere production of Glory Days, which lasted a notorious single performance on Broadway in 2008. It was jokingly referred to as "Glory Day".

The production also has music direction by Darius Smith, orchestrations and arrangements by Charlie Rosen, scenic design by Dan Conway, costume design by Frank Labovitz, lighting design by Brian Tovar, video design by Matthew Haber, sound design by Lane Elms and production dramaturgy by Max Spitulnik.

The production stage manager is John Keith Hall, and the production assistant is Jessica Skelton; New York casting is by Stephen Kopel, CSA.

Soon is produced in association with Tricia Small.

Tickets start at $40. Single tickets are available in person at the Signature Box Office at 4200 Campbell Avenue in Shirlington, by calling Ticketmaster at (703) 573-SEAT, and online at signature-theatre.org.
