Book News Jeffrey Seller Will Celebrate Memoir Theater Kid With Event Series

The Tony-winning producer's credits include Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, and more.

Tony-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (HamiltonRentAvenue QIn the Heights) will celebrate his upcoming memoir Theater Kid with a series of events across the country. Each evening will feature Seller in conversation with some of the artists, journalists, and friends who’ve shaped his story.

The first event will be held May 4 at The Public Theater, and feature Seller in conversation with Hamilton and In the Heights creators Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail. On May 6, a conversation with Douglas Sills with be held at The J Detroit in Detroit, MI. Alex Edelman will join Seller May 7 at New York's Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, Scott Simon will be featured May 14 at Washington, D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre, and Chris Jones will be the series' final guest at Chicago Humanities Festival May 18. 

Theater Kid will be available May 6 from Simon & Schuster.
