Cabaret & Concert News Lindsay Mendez to Play Washington, D.C., and San Francisco This Spring From the Kennedy Center to Feinstein’s at the Nikko, catch the Tony winner in concert across the U.S. in the coming months.

Tony Award-winning Carousel star Lindsay Mendez is set to play a series of concerts across the U.S. this spring, with dates in Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

Mendez is set to join Tony Award-winning Parade and Bridges of Madison County composer-lyricist Jason Robert Brown on April 18 at 8 PM at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The concert is presented in celebration of the 50th Anniversary National Festival of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.

Mendez and Brown will perform selections from his musicals, and studio albums, backed by band members Gary Sieger on guitar, Randy Landau on bass, and Jamie Eblen on drums. The evening also features the nine Musical Theatre Fellows of KCACTF from across the United States as well as Helen Hayes Award winner Tracy Lynn Olivera. Purchase tickets here.

San Francisco audiences can catch Mendez May 18–19 at Feinstein’s at the Nikko. Fans can expect to hear Mendez perform Golden Age Broadway classics and new material from contemporary musical theatre songwriters. Purchase tickets here.

Mendez has also just been announced to headline Playbill’s Broadway on the Mediterranean August 2020 cruise, featuring Tony Award winners Audra McDonald and Gavin Creel, and Tony nominee Will Swenson.
