The Broadway comedy Hand to God, which transferred immediately after closing on Broadway to open in London with an all-new British company, is to shutter April 30.
The production, which officially opened February 15, was originally booking through June 11. The original Tony-nominated director of the Broadway (and its prior Off-Broadway) incarnation, Moritz von Stuelpnagel, directed a new English company in Robert Askins' Tony-nominated play.
London critics were less enthusiastic about the play than their American counterparts. Read reviews here.
The cast comprises Janie Dee, Neil Pearson, Harry Melling, Jemina Rooper and Kevin Mains. It is produced in London by original Broadway producer Kevin McCollum, joined by new U.K. partner Nica Burns.
