Playbill will commemorate World AIDS Day with the third annual Remember the Ribbon: A Tribute to World AIDS Day benefit concert November 7 at Sony Hall in NYC. Sponsored by Gilead Sciences with support from Hotel Edison and Sony Hall, the event will stream on Playbill following the event December 1–3. Set to appear at the concert are Carolee Carmello (1776), André Jordan (Diana The Musical), Darius Anthony Harper (Kinky Boots), Colin Cunliffe (Paradise Square), and Anthony Wayne (Tina), along with the Broadway Sings Band and TONEWALL. The evening will also feature virtual appearances from Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose and Judith Light.

The event, which will celebrate, pay tribute to, and remember those affected by HIV and AIDS along with sharing the latest from the work around HIV awareness, education, and care, will include remarks from guest speakers Maria Di Dia, Alex Birsh, GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis, and GLAAD Senior Director of Communications Tony Morrison, along with special guests Quentin Bell, Tatiana Williams, Jasmine Davis, and representatives from Gilead Sciences.

Remember the Ribbon is co-directed by Bryan Campione and Leonard Rodino, with music by Broadway Sings, led by producer Corey Mach and music director Joshua Stephen Kartes. Sydney Steele will serve as stage manager, with technical production by Sony Hall and event filming by Michael Moritz Productions.

"Playbill is proud to host Remember the Ribbon for our third year, as we continue to honor our beloved friends, members of our community, and beyond who have been affected by HIV and AIDS," shares Playbill Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Alex Birsh. "We so look forward to spending the evening with GLAAD and our sponsors, Gilead Sciences and the Edison Hotel, without whom the night would not be possible."

Remember the Ribbon will stream December 1–3 on Playbill.com and on Playbill's YouTube channel, with an embedded donation button allowing audiences to make tax-deductible donations supporting GLAAD's work in HIV advocacy, and research.
