White Plains Performing Arts Center in White Plains, New York, has revealed its 2022-2023 season, which will include the U.S. regional premiere of The Prom plus the international hits Jersey Boys and Miss Saigon.

2019 Best Musical Tony nominee The Prom will kick off the season October 7–23, with Jersey Boys running December 9–January 8, 2023, and Miss Saigon April 14–May 7, 2023.

With a book by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, and lyrics by Beguelin, The Prom sees four egotistical Broadway stars descend on small-town Indiana after hearing that a local school has banned a lesbian student from attending prom. The work premiered on Broadway in 2018 and was adapted for the screen by Netflix in 2020.

Jersey Boys, with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, tells the story and features the music of The Four Seasons, tracking the quartet's creation, rise, fall, and coming-apart. After opening on Broadway in 2005 and winning Best Musical at the 2006 Tony Awards, the production closed on Broadway in 2017 and moved to Off-Broadway's New World Stages, where it continued its run until closing last month. WPPAC's production will be the work's Westchester premiere.

Inspired by Puccini's Madame ButterflyMiss Saigon resets the epic love story to 1975 Vietnam in the final days of the Vietnam War as an American soldier finds himself falling in love with a young Vietnamese woman. The work, which premiered on Broadway in 1991 after its 1989 West End debut, was Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's follow-up to their wildly successful Les MisérablesMiss Saigon features music by Schönberg, a book by Boublil and Schönberg, and lyrics by Boublil, with Richard Maltby, Jr. providing English translations.
