Tony winner Leslie Uggams will return to 54 Below in 2024.
The stage and screen star will offer an encore of her hit show Leslie Uggams: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue March 20, 21, and 23 at 7 PM.
Uggams will perform songs from her Broadway outings, including tunes from Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jerry's Girls, and Hallelujah, Baby!, as well as favorites from Gypsy, Funny Girl, and Carousel.
Uggams won the 1968 Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Hallelujah, Baby! and was Tony-nominated for her work in King Hedley II. She was also Emmy-nominated for her performance in the landmark TV miniseries Roots.
Cast members Fantasia Barrino, Corey Hawkins, Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Henson, and more came together to celebrate the film in the lead up to its public premiere.
