Cabaret & Concert News Updated Cast and Special Pricing for1776 at Feinstein’s/54 Below July 3–4 For the fourth year, the cabaret venue celebrates Independence Day with a concert staging of the musical.

For the fourth year in a row, Feinstein's/54 Below will celebrate Independence Day with concert stagings of 1776. The Tony-winning 1969 musical about America’s founding fathers and the signing of the Declaration of Independence is being performed by a non-traditional cast of Broadway actors at 7 PM and 9:30 PM July 3–4.

The cabaret is offering a special discounted admission price of $17.76 (general admission) for the 9:30 performances only on both days. Tickets must be ordered by June 26, using the code PATRIOT54. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit 54below.com/events/54-sings-1776.

The cast will be led by Kyle Scatliffe (The Color Purple, Les Misérables) in the central role of John Adams, with Carrie St. Louis (Wicked, Rock of Ages) as Abigail Adams. Newly added to the cast: Kyle Timson as Benjamin Franklin and Sam Hartley as Thomas Jefferson.

The cast will also feature Ryan Vona (Paramour, Once) as Richard Henry Lee, Michael McCorry Rose (Wicked, A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder) as John Dickinson, Kim McClay (I’ll Be Home for Christmas world premiere) as Martha Jefferson, Wade McCollum (Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, Wicked) as Edward Rutledge, Alex Prakken (Newsies National Tour) as The Courier, Connor F. Deane as Roger Sherman, Michael Hull as Robert Livingston, Ben Biggers as John Hancock, Nathan Goodrich as Charles Thomson, and Jordan Jacobs as James Wilson. The evening will be staged by Matt Redmond, with musical direction by Geraldine Anello.

Diversifying 1776: “The Present Doesn’t Look Like a Bunch of White People”

1776 was revived in 2016 by New York City Center as part of its Encores! series. The concert staging was directed by Garry Hynes and also featured a diverse cast of actors.
