DESCRIPTION

The upcoming Broadway production of DEAD OUTLAW is accepting Virtual Submissions from Indigenous American actors for an offstage cover role.

DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS EOD ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 17TH, 2025. Potential in-person callbacks in New York City will be held the last 2 weeks of January 2025.

SEEKING
OFFSTAGE UNDERSTUDY: Male Presenting, 20’s – early 40’s. Indigenous American. Understudy for the role of Andy Payne, a long-distance runner from the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma who crossed paths with the Dead Outlaw in the 1920’s. Also understudies the roles of Luke Johnson, Coroner Johnson, Dwain Esper, and various Americans of complex morality from 1880 through 1976 anywhere between Searsmont, Maine and Long Beach, California. Should sing in all styles, be a good harmonizer with a wide vocal range.
