Casting has been announced for Summer Shorts, the one-act play festival running July 20–September 1 at 59E59 Theaters.
The festival features six short plays by Robert O’Hara, Abby Rosebrock, Neil LaBute, Eric Lane, Claire Zajdel, and novelist Chris Bohjalian.
The lineup follows:
Series A: Grounded by Chris Bohjalian, directed by Alexander Dinelaris, featuring Grace Experience and K.K. Glick; The Living Room, written and directed by Robert O’Hara, featuring Kate Buddeke, Joel Reuben Ganz, and Adam Langdon; and Kenny’s Tavern, by Abby Rosebrock, directed by Jess Chayes, and featuring Stephen Guarino, Mariah Lee, and Francesca Fernandez McKenzie
Series B: Sparring Partner written by Neil LaBute, directed by J.J. Kandel, featuring Joanna Christie and KeiLyn Durrel Jones; Ibis by Eric Lane, directed by Terry Berliner, and featuring Lindsey Broad, Deandre Sevon, and Harold Surratt; and The Plot, by Claire Zajdel, directed by James Rees, and featuring Molly Groome and Jake Robinson.
