Grammy and Tony Award winner Cyndi Lauper has joined the lineup for the New York Pops’ April 29 gala tribute concert in her honor. Show time is 7 PM.
Hat Full of Stars: The Songs of Cyndi Lauper will also feature Annaleigh Ashford, Boy George, Estelle, Bridget Everett, Lena Hall, Nona Hendryx, Carly Rae Jepsen, Ingrid Michaelson, Alex Newell, and Stark Sands performing such songs as “Time After Time,” “Who Let in the Rain,” “True Colors,” and “Soul of a Man.”
Also performing will be 20 participants from The New York Pops’ Kids on Stage program. The concert will also honor media executive Ken Lowe, founder of Scripps Networks and Discovery Board Member.
