A one-night-only concert presentation of Dear Everything, a musical uprising written and narrated by Tony winner V (formerly Eve Ensler), will be staged January 30 at Terminal 5.
Dear Everything features music by Grammy nominee Justin Tranter and Caroline Pennell with contributions by Eren Cannata; lyrics by Tranter, Pennell, and V; contributions by Idina Menzel; orchestrations by Daniel Crean; and choreography by Christiana Hunt. Tony winner Diane Paulus will direct the concert staging.
Leading the company will be V, Latrice Pace, YDE, Paravi Das, Luke Ferrari, Michael Williams, Brittany Campbell, Terrence Archie, Caesar Samayoa, Benny Elledge, and Allison Guinn. The concert event will also feature The Broadway for Arts Education Choir along with the Dear Everything Youth Council, the latter of whom will speak and introduce Academy Award-winning actor and activist Jane Fonda and actor and activist Rosario Dawson, who will deliver closing words.
Dear Everything (formerly known as WILD) follows a group of young people in a small town whose determination to save their local forest endows them with powers they never knew they had, reminding audiences of our connection to the earth and the power of collective action. The work was developed at the A.R.T., where it was showcased in a 2021 concert premiere.
The concert staging is presented by A.R.T., Tony Montenieri, Adam McKay, Yellow Dot Studios, and Willowrow Entertainment. Dear Everything is supported in part by the Ford Foundation and the National Endowment for the Art.
