High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is back for a fourth and final season that will include a reunion of cast members from the original film franchise.

It's officially now or never as Disney has released a full trailer for the upcoming fourth—and final—season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, which hits Disney+ August 9. Get a glimpse of Into the Woods Tony nominee Julia Lester taking on "Now or Never" from High School Musical 3 in the newly released trailer above.

The new episodes will follow the kids of East High as they stage a production of High School Musical 3 while the High School Musical film franchise cast joins them on campus to film a reunion movie. Returning from the original High School Musical film trilogy are Broadway alum Corbin Bleu and Alyson Reed, along with Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, and Kaycee Stroh.

Bleu has starred on the Main Stem in In the Heights, Godspell, Holiday Inn, and Kiss Me, Kate; while Reed played Sally Bowles in the 1987 revival of Cabaret and also appeared in Dancin'; Oh, Brother!; Dance a Little Closer; Marilyn; and A Grand Night for Singing. Reed also notably played Cassie in the screen adaptation of A Chorus Line.

Newly joining the cast in recurring roles are Kylie Cantrall as social media star Dani, Matthew Sato as sitcom actor Mack, Caitlin Reilly as indie film director Quinn, and Broadway alum Vasthy Mompoint (SpongeBob SquarePants, The Prom) as choreographer Krystal.

Returning from the series' earlier seasons are Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Dara Reneé, Broadway Into the Woods star and 2023 Tony nominee Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders (Something Rotten!, Gypsy), and Liamani Segura.

Inspired by Disney Channel's High School Musical film franchise, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is a scripted, mockumentary-style show that follows students at a fictionalized version of Salt Lake City's East High School, where the original films were shot. The first season centered on the school's first-ever production of the stage adaptation of High School Musical, while the second season saw the drama department take on Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The series' third season, which premiered on Disney+ last year, followed the Wildcats to Camp Shallow Lake, where they performed Disney's Frozen.
