The musical, which features five songs by Jerome Kern, was the first written by the prolific British performer-songwriter Novello, who is best known for composing "Keep the Home Fires Burning," the patriotic tune written during World War I.
Thomas Sabella-Mills directs a cast including Amy Arbizani, Sarah Ambrose, James Beaman, Jackson Ross Best, Jr., Elyse Beyer, Anne Bobby, Melissa Bohon, Michael Fitzpatrick, Kevin Greene, Keith Herron, Ben Liebert, Topher Nuccio, Annemarie Rosano and David Sattler, with Jeff Horst, Brent Heuser, David Brent Howard, Rene Madden and Sara Sawyer. Paul L. Johnson is music director of the piano-and-voice staging.

In Theodore & Co., according to press notes, "Lord Theodore, being 'the second son,' has no money. For a fee, he offers 'personal services' to his social set. The 24th Duke of Shetland needs guests for a fancy party and asks his nephew Theo to provide them. Theo and his 'company' sell expensive tickets to the affair and we see the high and low of 1916 London society. The gigolo, Cosmo, has designs on Lady Pansy. Mrs. Blisset is looking to find an employer for her husband. Lord Wye is seeking to get away from his wife. Pony, Theo's right hand man, is instructing his girlfriend, Fudge, on how to avoid the amorous advances of Dukes. Lady Diana is bewildered by the odd servants and guests..."
