International News London’s National Theatre Will Host A Conversation With Stephen Sondheim A revival of Sondheim’s Follies recently reopened at the London venue.

London’s National Theatre will present A Conversation With Stephen Sondheim March 29 at 6:10 PM in the Olivier Theatre.

Sondheim, who is currently represented at the London venue with the reopening of the hit revival of Follies, will chat with Dominic Cooke, who directed the aforementioned production.

Sondheim’s works also include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, and West Side Story.

Further Follies events include Designing Follies with Vicki Mortimer (March 29 at 5 PM) and Ted Chapin: Creating Follies on Broadway in 1971 (May 9 at 6 PM). Click here for ticket information.


After a sold-out run, Sondheim and James Goldman's Olivier-winning Follies returned to the National with Tracie Bennett, Janie Dee, and Peter Forbes reprising their roles and Alexander Hanson and Joanna Riding joining the cast as Ben and Sally. Performances are currently scheduled through May 11.
