A Christmas Memory has a book by Duane Poole, music by Larry Grossman, and lyrics by Carol Hall. Aaron Gandy music directs.
Ripley plays a character named Sook in the musical based on a short story by Truman Capote.
The play is set in 1930's Alabama with a plot centered around a group of eccentrics throwing a traditional Southern Christmas; the cast will also include Nancy Hess (Chicago), Taylor Richardson (Annie), Virginia Ann Woodruff (The Color Purple), Silvano Spagnuolo, Samuel Cohen (Once) and Ashley Robinson (Bright Star).
The design team includes choreograpy by Barry McNabb, scenic design by James Noone, costume design by David Toser, lighting design by Brian Nason, properties design by Deirdre Brennan and wig design by Robert Charles Vallance.
