From a couple of Cats to a Topdog, it's the beginning of a new year for Broadway's brightest born in July.

Wave a grand old flag for our July birthdays!

Sparkling this month are the performers, directors, playwrights, and other theatre artists who celebrate their birthdays in bursts of fireworks. July is a dandy month to commemorate all the Yankee Doodles who have unfurled their talents on Broadway. We're making sure all the world hears us sing "Happy Birthday!"

On July 1, it's all glory for Terrence Mann (Finding NeverlandPippin) and Twyla Tharp (Come Fly AwayMovin' Out). 

Somebody will light the candles on July 2 for Grey Henson (ShuckedMean GirlsThe Book of Mormon). 

July 3 is a triple-threat birthday with Audra McDonald (Ohio State Murders, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de LuneLady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill), Betty Buckley (Sunset BoulevardCarrieSong and Dance), and Tom Stoppard (LeopoldstadtTravestiesArcadia) all celebrating. 

It's for Tracy Letts (The MinutesAll My Sons, Linda Vista) and the late Neil Simon (Plaza SuitePromises, Promises, Brighton Beach Memoirs) we sing on July 4. 

Every chair at every table will be full on July 6 as we celebrate Claude-Michel Schönberg (Les MisérablesMiss Saigon).

Paulo Szot (& JulietSouth PacificChicago) will be feeling confident on July 7 as he breaks free into a new year. 

Get ready to celebrate Jeremy Pope (The CollaborationAin't Too ProudChoir Boy) and Brandon Uranowitz (LeopoldstadtBurn ThisThe Band's Visit) on July 9. 

We'll want to celebrate David Ives (Venus in FurFinian's Rainbow) and Sydney Lucas (Fun Home) for days and days after their July 11 birthday.

We shall dance on July 12 as we celebrate Rachel Brosnahan (The Sign in Sidney Brustein's WindowThe Big Knife) and Oscar Hammerstein II (The King and ICarousel, Show Boat).

July 13 is for recognizing those who have spent their life in the theatre, with Patrick Stewart (No Man's Land, Waiting for Godot, Macbeth), Jason Danieley (Pretty Woman: The MusicalThe VisitNext to Normal), and Deborah Cox (Jekyll & HydeAida) all celebrating. 

It will be loverly to celebrate Laura Benanti (My Fair LadyFreestyle Love SupremeShe Loves Me), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Topdog / Underdog) & Scott Foley (The Thanksgiving PlayThe Violet Hour) on July 15. 

We'll be crying salty teardrops of joy on July 16 as Tony Kushner (Caroline, or ChangeAngels in America) and Fatboy Slim (Here Lies Love) celebrate their birthday.

Shout, "Happy Birthday," to Ephraim Sykes (Ain't Too Proud, HamiltonMotown The Musical) on July 17.

We'll be singing a song about Ari’el Stachel (The Band's Visit) on his July 29 birthday.

Finally, on July 31 we'll be dancing together to celebrate Oskar Eustis (Here Lies LoveFat HamAin't No Mo') on his special day.
