Video Watch Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss Go Behind the Lyrics of SIX

The co-creators have shared a video about lines from the international hit musical, including Moss' favorite.

Tony winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss go behind the lyrics for SIX the Musical fans in a new video. Pulling lines out of a bowl, the two creators even discuss the development of Moss' favorite line: "I look more rad than Lutheranism." Check out the video above.

Six follows the six wives of King Henry VIII of England: Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. The royals tell their stories in a historical remix that turns the Tudor women into pop queens.

Marlow and Moss won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score, with Marlow making history as the first out nonbinary composer-lyricist to win a Tony Award. Six is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The production features set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by 2022 Tony winner Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum serve as its producers on Broadway.

Currently starring in the show on Broadway are new monarchs Hailee Kaleem Wright, Leandra Ellis-Gaston, Bella Coppola, Nasia Thomas, Zoe Jensen, and Taylor Iman Jones. Along with new alternates Marilyn Caserta, Kristina Leopold, and Aubrey Matalon, the new cast members joined continuing alternates Ayla Ciccone-Burton and Holli' Conway December 5.
