New York City's Cutting Room will host a concert presentation of a new pop-rock musical Every Wednesday Night October 4 at 7 PM. The piece features a book by Jon D'Agostino, and music and lyrics by D'Agostino and Michael August.
Adam Kaplan and Carrie St. Louis will lead a cast that also includes Rashidra Scott, Kevin Stevens, Dave Droxler, Perry Danos, LaVon Fisher-Wilson, Eliseo Roman, Marissa Rosen, and Mikey Vultaggio.
The semi-autobiographical work follows a young man grieving the loss of his father, while also expecting a child of his own. He stops by a neighborhood bar, unaware that it's karaoke night, and meets a group of "misfit singers" who will change his life forever.
The creative team includes director Amy E. Jones, music director Mark Baron, executive producer Rashad V. Chambers, casting director Karie Koppel, and stage manager Dylan Coker. D'Agostino is producing.
