The current West End revival of Alan Ayckbourn's 1969 play How the Other Half Loves, which is playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket through June 25, will continue after its run there ends, transferring to the Duke of York's, where it will begin performances July 7 for a 12-week summer season through October 1.
The play was first seen in the West End in 1970 and on Broadway in 1971 (the first of his plays to be seen there). This production, which is directed by Alan Strachan and stars Nicholas Le Prevost, Jenny Seagrove, Jason Merrells, Matthew Cottle, Gillian Wrwight and Tamzin Outhwaite, officially opened at the Theatre Royal Haymarket March 31.
All except Outhwaite will continue in their roles when the production moves. She will be replaced by Andrea Lowe, best known for playing DS Annie Cabbot in the TV series DCI Banks.
