Dear Evan Hansen Broadway alum Andrew Barth Feldman is adding another film to his growing resume. He will next appear in the Sony Pictures' movie SNL 1975, the origin story of the long-running NBC show Saturday Night Live.
Feldman will play Neil Levy, an original writer and talent coordinator for the sketch comedy show. He joins the cast with Kaia Gerber, who will play Jacqueline Carlin and Finn Wolfhard, who will play an NBC page. Previously announced cast members include Gabriel LaBelle as Lorne Michaels, Matt Wood as John Belushi, Ella Hunt as Gilda Radner, Cory Michael Smith as Chevy Chase, Dylan O'Brien as Dan Aykroyd, Lamorne Morris as Garrett Morris, Kim Matula as Jane Curtin, Emily Fairn as Laraine Newman, and Nicholas Podany as Billy Crystal.
SNL 1975 is co-written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, who conducted extensive interviews with surviving writers, cast, and crew members from that first episode of Saturday Night Live, which aired October 11, 1975.
In addition to Feldman's solo Broadway credit, he has also appeared in the recent movie No Hard Feelings as well as the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
No release date for SNL 1975 is set.
