Two-time Tony nominee Andrew Rannells will reunite with his Girls co-star Lena Dunham on her newest project, the Netflix rom-com series Too Much.
The series is co-created by Dunham and her husband, British musician Luis Felber, with the pair also serving as executive producers. The 10-episode series centers on Jessica, who moves from New York to London after a messy break-up. Though she plans to lead a solitary life, she meets and forms an instant connection with the rowdy Felix. Comedian Meg Stalter and The White Lotus' Alex Sharpe co-star.
In addition to Rannells, the supporting cast also includes Leo Reich (Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?!), Michael Zegen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Rhea Perlman, Richard E. Grant, Rita Wilson, Stephen Fry, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Adwoa Aboah, Daisy Bevan, Dean-Charles Chapman, Emily Ratajkowski, Janicza Bravo, and Kaori Momoi.
Original music will be provided by Felber’s band, Attawalpa.
No release date has been announced, but production will begin this year.
