Pitch Perfect star and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt favorite Anna Camp will return to Broadway in the upcoming revival of J. B. Priestley's Time and the Conways. She, Tony winner Gabriel Ebert, and Tony nominee Steven Boyer are among the recently announced names joining the previously reported Elizabeth McGovern.
Performances of the Roundabout Theatre Company production will begin September 14 at the American Airlines Theatre, where it is set to officially open October 10. Rebecca Taichman, who won her first Tony Award earlier this year for helming Indecent, will direct.
Camp, who will take on the role of Hazel, last appeared on Broadway in the 2008 revival of Equus. Ebert, a Tony winner for Matilda who was most recently seen on Broadway in Thérèse Raquin, will play Alan. Boyer, following his Tony-nominated turn in 2015's Hand to God, will play Ernest.
Rounding out the company will be Broadway and West End alum Charlotte Parry as Kay, Pippin alum Matthew James Thomas as Robin, Anna Baryshnikov as Carol, Brooke Bloom as Madge, Alfredo Narciso as Gerald, and Cara Ricketts as Joan.
This production marks the first Broadway staging of the play since its 1938 premiere. The show, set in 1919 Britain, follows Mrs. Conway (McGovern) during her daughter's lavish birthday party, and then picks up 19 years later, when her and her family's lives have changed unimaginably.
The creative team includes set design Neil Patel, costume designer Paloma Young, lighting designer Christopher Akerlind, and sound designer Matt Hubbs.
Time and the Conways is scheduled to run through November 26.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
