A star-studded lineup of Broadway artists are set to participate in the second annual Broadway Acts for Abortion October 6 at 54 Below. Cecily Strong and Jenn Lyon will serve as hosts for the evening, which will raise funds and awareness for A is For.
The evening will feature performances and a live auction, with prizes including one-of-a kind items, concert tickets, and personalized experiences from Nick Offerman, Jessica Vosk, Daniel Radcliffe, and more.
Greg Santos will direct the event, with music direction by Dan Lipton.
A is For was founded in 2012 by actors and activists Martha Plimpton, Kellie Overbey, and Gina Loukareas. The organization amplifies art and artists working to end the stigma surrounding abortion and envision a world with greater access to reproductive healthcare.
Lupita Nyong'o, Katrina Lenk, Jelani Alladin, and more were on hand to celebrate the October 31 opening night of Michael R. Jackson and Anna K. Jacobs' new musical.
