Provincetown's Art House Theatre has announced their summer 2022 season, which will include appearances from theatre favorites Audra McDonald, Stephanie J. Block, Chita Rivera, Jessica Vosk, Lillias White, Victoria Clark, Donna McKechnie, and more.
The season has been planned by Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale, who celebrates his eleventh season leading the venue.
Six-time Tony winner McDonald will give a concert accompanied and hosted by Seth Rudetsky May 29, kicking off a series of Broadway favorites set to play Provincetown with the SiriusXM host and Playbill correspondent at the keys, including Rachel Bay Jones (June 24-25), Christy Altomare (July 8-9), Stephanie J. Block (July 10), Donna McKechnie (July 30-31), Chita Rivera (August 7), Lillias White (August 12-13), Jessica Vosk (September 4), and Beth Malone (September 30-October 1).
Broadway fans can also see Faith Prince and Jason Graae's You & Me But Mostly Me with pianist Alex Rybeck July 17-18, the Faith Prince-helmed Man Overboard starring Roderick Ferguson July 18, Melissa Errico's No One Is Alone: Melissa Errico Remembers Stephen Sondheim with Ted Firth on the piano July 22-23, Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway's Broadway The Calla-Way with Rybeck August 5-6, Marilyn Maye's Of Course There's More August 23-September 3, Max von Essen with Billy Stritch August 26-27, Hannah Corneau with Ross Baum September 16-17, and Mauricio Martínez with Brian Nash September 23-24.
Comedian Judy Gold will bring her Yes, I Can Say That June 24-July 2, July 5-6, and July 26-August 31.
RuPaul's Drag Race fans can catch champion Bianca Del Rio in Unsanitized July 3, Ginger Minj July 6-16 and August 10-September 3, Miz Cracker in her Provincetown debut July 20-August 6, and Sasha Velour August 14. Noted Barbra Streisand impersonator Steven Brinberg will perform Simply Barbra September 1-2.
