Cast members from Nick & Nora, the short-lived 1999 Broadway musical that played nine official performances, will reunite in concert May 2, 2017, at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
The 7 PM and 9:30 PM concerts will feature Barry Bostwick (The Robber Bridegroom, Scandal, Spin City) and Joanna Gleason (Into the Woods, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), who originated the respective title roles, and Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Light In The Piazza) as Victor Moisa.
The evening is presented by the team that brought Onward Victoria, Charlie and Algernon, and Eating Raoul to the venue. Steven Carl McCasland will direct with musical direction by James Horan.
Nick & Nora features a book by Arthur Laurents, lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., and music by Charles Strouse. The Broadway production had an unusually long preview period of 71 performances before opening December 8, 1991, at the Marquis Theatre. The score was nominated for a 1992 Tony Award.
