Her New Year's Eve set will include songs from Stephen Sondheim, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Jerry Herman, and numerous other Broadway favorites. Troy Quinn will lead the orchestra in the first half of the concert, while Peters' music director Joseph Thalken will conduct the second half of the program and accompany her on the piano.
Throughout Peters' renowned career, she has starred in Broadway productions including Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Annie Get Your Gun, Gypsy, A Little Night Music, Follies, Hello, Dolly!, and more. Peters has been honored with three Tony Awards, including the 2012 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award, and seven total nominations.
Peters was last seen on the London stage in 2023 in the Sondheim revue Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends, which will transfer to Broadway later this season with Peters reprising her performance.
