Morgan James, who appeared in the Broadway productions of Motown and Godspell before launching a successful recording career, will visit New York’s Highline Ballroom April 5 for a single performance of Reckless Abandon, a touring concert in support of her album Hunter.

Tickets for the 8 PM concert cost $22.50–$30 and can be purchased at the Highline Ballroom website.

The New York-based soul singer, songwriter, and Broadway performer is showcasing songs from the 2014 album, including her own renditions of Prince’s “Call My Name,” Hall & Oates’ “She's Gone," Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark,” and a duet with Grammy Award winner Robert Glasper, “Let Me Keep You.” She also co-wrote several of the songs.
