The cast of Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate received a special backstage visit before their May 21 performance. Gracye Spence, the last living cast member of Kiss Me, Kate's original 1948 production, stopped by to visit Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara, Will Chase, Corbin Bleu, and the entire cast of the Tony-nominated revival at Studio 54.

Spence served as a member of the singing ensemble when Kiss Me, Kate opened at the New Century Theatre in 1948. She moved with the production when it transferred to the Shubert Theatre in 1950. Kiss Me, Kate was the very first recipient of the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949.

Spence traveled from Clermont, Florida, with her family in order to see Roundabout's new revival of the musical, which runs through June 30 at Studio 54.
