Regional News Casting Announced for Guys and Dolls, Opening Production of Finger Lakes Festival The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival launches in June.

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival has announced casting for the opening production of its 2017 season, Guys and Dolls, which runs June 7–28 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park. The forthcoming season also includes Parade, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Ghost The Musical, and Always…Patsy Cline.

Directed and choreographed by Ricky Hinds, the cast of Guys and Dolls will be led by Michael Lomenda (Jersey Boys) as Sky Masterson, Traci Bair (Annie) as Sarah Brown, Julie Cardia (Annie) as Miss Adelaide, and Carlos Lopez (Man of La Mancha) as Nathan Detroit, with Becky Barta as General Cartwright, James Judy as Arvide Abernathy, Danny Lindgren as Benny, Josh Katzker as Lieutenant Brannigan, Wes Webb as Big Jule, Jonathan Cobrda as Rusty, Aaron Burr as Harry the Horse, and Jefferson Behan, who will rock the boat as Nicely Nicely.

The ensemble will feature Banji Aborisade, Alex Hathaway, Crawford Horton, Jessica Ice, Aimee Lane, Caleb Marshall, Eddie Olmo, Anna Sheridan, Gabi Stapula, and Jen Thiessen.

Lizz Picini is the assistant choreographer.

Guys and Dolls will be designed by Shoko Kambara, with lighting design by Dan Ozminkowski, sound design by Miles Polaski, and costume design by Tiffany Howard.

Guys and Dolls features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, and is based on the story and characters of Damon Runyon.
