Full casting has been announced for a new production of Mark Ravenhill's debut play, Shopping and F***ing, first seen at the Royal Court in 1996, that will begin performances October 7 at the Lyric Hammermith prior to an official opening October 12, for a run through November 5.
Sean Holmes will direct Alex Arnold, Ashley McGuire, David Moorst, Sam Spruell and Sophie Wu in the play.
McGuire has appeared regularly at the National Theatre (credits include Our Country’s Good, The Suicide, Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, Home and An Oak Tree) and was seen at the Donmar as Falstaff in Henry IV.
Moorst won the Evening Standard Theatre Award and Critics' Circle Award for Most Promising Newcomer for his performance in Violence and Son at the Royal Court. He was recently seen in First Light at Chichester's Minerva Theatre and Into The Woods at Manchester's Royal Exchange.
