The previously announced Imelda Staunton and Conleth Hill are to be joined by Luke Treadaway and Imogen Poots in the new West End production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, set to begin performances February 22, 2017, prior to an official opening March 9, for a run through May 27, at the West End's Harold Pinter Theatre.

This production of Albee’s drama about a night of clashing and truth-telling in a nightmarish marriage will be directed by James Macdonald and produced by Sonia Friedman.

Treadaway, who plays Nick, won an Olivier Award for his performance as Christopher in the original National Theatre production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and also originated the role of Albert in the original production of War Horse, again at the National. His film credits include the upcoming A Street Cat Named Bob, adapted from the New York Times bestselling novel, as well as Unbroken, Attack the Block, The Whistleblower, Clash of the Titans, Tonight You’re Mine, Heartless, The Rise, and Brothers of the Head. TV credits include Fortitude. The Rack Pack, The Hollow Crown, and The Nightmare World of H.G. Wells with Michael Gambon.

Poots, who plays Honey, is making her West End debut. Her screen credits include 28 Weeks Later, The Look of Love (for which she won the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress), She’s Funny That Way, The Knight of Cups, Green Room, Filth, Jimi: All Is By My Side, A Late Quartet, and Jane Eyre.
