It was previously reported that the musical would bow on Broadway in spring 2015, but plans for a Broadway life did not come to fruition this season. It is now aiming for a Main Stem debut in the summer/fall of 2015.
Casey Hushion (Elf) will direct the lab with choreography by Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse ("Smash," Gigi, On the Town).
The cast features Charlie Pollock (Violet, Love's Labour's Lost) as Steve Jobs and Wesley Taylor (Rock of Ages, The Addams Family, "Smash") as Bill Gates with Benny Elledge as Steve Wozniak, Lauren Molina (The Skivvies) as Myrtle, Rob Morrison as Paul Allen, Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones) as Sally and Kevin Pariseau (Legally Blonde) as Watson.
Rounding out the ensemble are Catherine Ricafort (Honeymoon in Vegas), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Pierce Cassedy and Tyson Jennette (The Book of Mormon).
Taylor, Pollock and Molina starred in a concert version of the musical June 11, 2014, at 54 Below.
The musical, which received 2007 Barrymore Awards for Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Original Music, features book and lyrics by Jordan Allen-Dutton and Erik Weiner (co-creators of The Bomb-itty of Errors, "Robot Chicken") and music by Hal Goldberg (The Children, Ma Vie En Rosewood).
