MasterVoices closes out its season with Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe at Carnegie Hall May 3. Artistic Director and Tony winner Ted Sperling is at the baton for the concert, which also includes the 120-member MasterVoices choral ensemble.

The company features Tony winners Christine Ebersole as The Queen of the Fairies and Santino Fontana as George, along with Tiler Peck as Dancing Fairy, David Garrison as The Lord Chancellor, Shereen Ahmed as Iolanthe, Schyler Vargas as Strephon, Ashley Fabian as Phyllis, Jason Danieley as Thomas, and Phillip Boykin as Private Willis.

The comic opera, first performed in 1882, centers on its titular character, a fairy banished from fairyland for marrying a mortal. A case of mistaken identity leads to a battle between London's House of Peers and the fairies, all while satirizing British government and society.
