Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson will offer a one-night-only concert March 8 at 7:30 PM at Colorado's historic Wheeler Opera House. The concert evening is presented by Theatre Aspen, in association with the opera house.
According to press notes, Jackson will perform a selection of "songs that have shaped his life," from bluegrass and country to hip hop, gospel, R&B, and of course, Broadway.
Jackson is best known for originating the role of George Washington in Hamilton, and has also starred on Broadway in In the Heights, The Lion King, Freestyle Love Supreme, Memphis, and more. Jackson received a 2016 Grammy Award as a featured soloist on Hamilton's cast album, as well as a 2011 Daytime Emmy Award for his work as a composer for Sesame Street.
