The Songbook Sundays series continues with an evening celebrating the work of the composer of Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate.

Songbook Sundays, the series created and hosted by Deborah Grace Winer to celebrate the American Songbook, continues at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club December 8 at 5 PM and 7:30 PM.

Entitled Happen to Like Cole Porter, the evening performances feature the talents of Tony winner Karen Ziemba, Margo Seibert, and Milton Suggs.

The artists are backed by music director Ted Rosenthal on piano plus Jay Leonhart on bass/guest vocals, Peter Anderson on saxophone, and Jerome Jennings on drums.

Attendees can expect to hear such Porter classics as "Night and Day," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "From This Moment On," "It’s De-Lovely," and more.

Tickets for Songbook Sundays are $65 with student tickets available at $20. There is a $21 food/drink minimum. Visit Jazz.org/Dizzys.
