Benefits and Galas Collective Transformation Fundraiser for the Transgender Law Center Set For The Green Room 42

Showcasing transgender and gender-expansive artists both on and off the stage, proceeds raised will help combat the bigoted political actions being taken across the US.

The Green Room 42 will present Collective Transformation: New Works from the Musical Theatre Writing Collective as a fundraiser for the Transgender Law Center February 22 at 9:30 PM.

Centering on the next generation of musical theatre writers, performers, and musicians, all material presented will be themed around the concept of "transformation." Showcasing transgender and gender-expansive artists both on and off the stage, the evening will support the Transgender Law Center's work to help combat the bigoted political actions being taken across the U.S.

Transgender Law Center is the nation's largest trans-led organization championing the rights of all transgender and gender-nonconforming people to make their own choices and live freely, safely, and authentically. Prioritizing BIPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities, they advance community-driven strategies that harness trans knowledge, power, and joy to ensure that the community all not only survives but thrives at all ages and phases of life.

All the participating writers hail from the Musical Theatre Writing Collective, whose founder Michael Radi will emcee the event. The cast and creative team will includes Aaron Michael Krueger, Amanda Gulla, Amy Andrews, Anna Waiter, Ashlynn Hazel Pilger, Chris Beller, Glenn Prangnell, Gwynne Wood, Jalen Bunch, James Rushin, Julie Richardson, Kat Brannan-Williams, Katryna Marttala, Keith Andrews, Lachlan Foster, Lennon Hu, Mare Rozzelle, Margo Hera, Maria Cento, Megan Rayl, Michael Radi, Preston Max Allen, Rebecca Angel, Rebecca Farley, Samy Figaredo, Sharon Ahn, Steve Drieman, Sushma Saha, Sydney Schizzano, and Turner Riley.
