News College Grads Respond to Political Climate With Remembering the World of Anne Frank Alumni from Montclair State University are mounting Anne Frank’s story in response to the current state of politics.

Normal Ave Productions presents And Then They Came For Me: Remembering The World Of Anne Frank by James Still November 17-21at Jersey City Theatre Center and The Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park.

Guest speaker and Holocaust survivor, Frank's step-sister Eva Schloss, joins the cast and director Susan Kerner for a talk back after every performance.

“I am delighted that for the 20th anniversary of the play And Then They Came For Me: Remembering The World Of Anne Frank the original director has decided to stage the play again,” said Schloss. “It is especially of importance now as times remind one of the 1930s when millions of refugees were also trying unsuccessfully to find shelter in safe countries.”

According to press notes, “Anne Frank's diary, filled with hope against inescapable oppression, has captivated audiences around the world for well over half a century. Audiences will discover a new relevance to this well-known story of the 15-year-old girl who died a victim of genocide.”

The cast includes, Elena Barone, Esteban Carmona, Lee Cohen, Jeremy Landes, Paige Sciarrino, Aryana Sedarati, and Virgina Marie Vass.

Other members of the creative team include scenic designer Aaron Turetsky, lighting designer Ethan Newman, costume designer Eden Tayar, production stage manager Shannon Molly Flynn, assistant stage manager Annelise Lipowitz, and technical director Fernando Ayres.
