Cush Jumbo, who recently performed her solo show about Josephine Baker, Josephine and I at the Public Theater in New York, is planning to take on the classic role of Joan of Arc in Donmar Warehouse's revival of George Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan this fall, according to a report in The Daily Mail.

Playbill.com was unable to confirm the report immediately.

Jumbo, who appeared on Broadway opposite Hugh Jackman in The River, would play Shaw's doomed French heroine in a December production that would be directed by Donmar artistic director Josie Rourke.

A regular on the TV series The Good Wife, Jumbo is scheduled to be featured this summer in Phyllida Lloyd’s all-female Central Park staging of The Taming Of The Shrew, along with Janet McTeer.
