Dance Theatre of Harlem’s 50th anniversary celebration will pay tribute to the life and legacy of late Co-Founding Artistic Director Arthur Mitchell with touring dates in 19 cities across the U.S., including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Seattle, West Palm Beach, and Washington, D.C.

To commemorate DTH’s founding on February 11, 1969, the organization will host a series of special 50th anniversary events honoring the legacies of Mitchell and co-founder Karel Shook.

Dance Theatre of Harlem will also celebrate its 50th anniversary homecoming season at New York City Center April 10–13. DTH’s annual Vision Gala will kick off the City Center run April 10.
