News Dear Evan Hansen, Bright Star, Matilda Understudies Will Stand in the Spotlight The concert will be held at Off-Broadway’s Lion Theatre.

Musicals Tonight! will continue its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys, understudies, and alternates November 7 with its next edition of At This Performance, which will be held at 7 PM at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street.

Hosted by series producing artistic director and casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

Scheduled to perform are Maddie Shea Bladwin (understudy for the role of Margo Crawford in the Broadway production of Bright Star), Mackenzie Barmen (standby for the roles of Missy, Suzy, Cindy Lou, and Betty Jean in the Off-Broadway revival of The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephen Cerf (understudy for the roles of Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi, Gyp DeCarlo, and Bob Crewe in the Broadway production of Jersey Boys), Max Chernin (understudy for the roles of Daryl Ames and Billy Cane in the Broadway production of Bright Star), Jeremiah James (standby for the role of Jamie Lockhart in the Off-Broadway production of The Robber Bridegroom), Freddie Kimmel (standby for the roles of Cagney, Brother Bill, and others in the Off-Broadway production of Cagney The Musical), Michael Minarik (understudy for the roles of Miss Trunchbull and Mr. Wormwood in the Broadway production of Matilda The Musical), Claudia Yanez (standby for the Female role in the Off-Broadway production of Spamilton), and Remy Zaken (standby for the roles of Alana and Zoe in the Off-Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen).

Musical director/accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.
