Spike Manton and Harry Teinowitz's addiction comedy Another Shot officially opened Off-Broadway October 29, and the reviews are rolling in. The play, which began its New York debut at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre October 15, will run through January 4, 2025.
An ode to addiction recovery and the sober community, Another Shot is based loosely on real-life Chicago sports radio personality Harry Teinowitz, whose career and life were put in jeopardy following a DUI arrest. The play is co-written by former ESPN personality and playwright Manton (Leaving Iowa). Jackson Gay directs.
