The 8 PM event will take place at Bowery Poetry Club, where Shim Mamsir is the official theatre company. The reading will feature the drag talents of Sweetie, Mimi Imfurst, Bianca Del Rio, Bianca Leigh, Lavinia Co-op and Dallas Dubois.
According to press materials, "She’ll Be Dying is the first in a series of wholly unauthorized staged readings of plays, films, TV movies, sitcoms and after school specials — all presented with a drag twist.” While the company hasn't released details of the actual titles they’ll be working with, this first installment of the series is described as "a teased up tail of Southern 'hair-o-ines' so sugary sweet you will need a shot of insulin!"
